Abstract

The study aims to examine whether nutritional knowledge has a significant relationship with body mass index among undergraduate college students of Kerala. Using the Nutritional Knowledge Questionnaire, a detailed survey was conducted among 2723 students of Kerala and analysed for appropriate categorisation. The chi-Square method was used to quantitatively measure the association between nutritional knowledge and body mass index. The findings were discussed in large based on a detailed review of the literature.
